Spreading the word

Diabetes Week has been a great success and it's not over yet. I have been tweeting like 'Rocking Robin' about every thing Diabetes related and really trying to spread the message that funds need to be re assessed in order to allow for the education of diabetics, who, in my experience are more than capable of controlling their illness, when given the right advice, information and support. I really hope that our wonderful NHS and The government re-evaluate how the funds are spent. So if you follow me on twitter, facebook or instagram you will have been truly bombarded by my posts. However if you managed to miss them then don't worry, I won't shut up anytime soon. You may also be aware that my blog was featured in my county's newspaper. Some people have messaged me asking where they can read the article, well I haven't been able to locate an online version of the article and as I don't have time to re type the article today I will attach some photographs in the hope that the text can be read. My thanks go to Hertfordshire Mercury's Sam Meadows for his great article and for helping me spread the word, and to everyone who has shared and re-tweeted and all that malarkey. Thank you ;)
What else is happening.....Oh yes! I am going on holiday today SOOOOOOOOO Excited! It will be my first holiday abroad in 3 years and My 1st Holiday with my Medtronic 640g Insulin pump. I'm super nervous about how the heat will affect me and I will be staying away from the Sangria as I am only a few months out of my Nephrotic Syndrome episode but I really can't wait to relax and enjoy the break. I will be making notes on how things go with the pump, on the beach, round the pool etc and I will blog about it for those who are pumping or wannabe pumpers. Until then stay Fabulous. Tracy xxx
